General Administrator – Scheduling & Accounts Payable
Group Support is looking for a highly organised General Administrator to join our Hāwera team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll manage incoming calls, coordinate daily schedules.

Group Support provides operational and administrative services to a number of growing businesses within its wider group, including Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, EcoChill and ICE Electrical. Our team helps ensure the businesses operate efficiently by supporting systems, processes and day-to-day operations across the group.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised General Administrator to join our team in Hāwera. This role is central to supporting the day-to-day operations of the businesses within the group, with a strong focus on answering incoming calls, coordinating job scheduling and providing administrative support to the wider team.
The position also includes assisting with accounts payable tasks and maintaining accurate administrative records. It is well suited to someone who is detail focused and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming phone calls and manage enquiries
• Coordinate daily schedules and ensure work is allocated efficiently
• Communicate job information clearly with technicians and internal teams
• Assist with accounts payable tasks including processing supplier invoices
• Maintain accurate administrative records, catalogues, files and databases
• Support general office administration and documentation
• Work with internal staff to ensure requests and tasks are completed efficiently
About You
To be successful in this role you will be organised, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment where priorities can shift throughout the day. Specifically, you will need the following:
Essential Capabilities
• Experience working in an administration, office support or coordination role
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing information
• Confidence in using computer systems and office software
• Ability to follow processes and maintain organised records
• Comfortable working independently while supporting a wider team
Desired Experience
• Coordinating or scheduling work for staff or service teams
• Accounts payable or basic accounts administration
• Experience in a service, operations or trade-based business environment
